quota / privacy
Privacy Policy
Effective 23 August 2026. Applies to the Quota iOS app.
Independent app
Quota is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, or Cursor.
What Quota stores
Quota has no Quota account. You connect your own provider accounts. Sign-in tokens stay on your iPhone in the Keychain and are not uploaded to a Quota server. Cached remaining percents, reset times, and optional history stay in this app’s App Group on the device so Home and widgets can show the same numbers.
What Quota requests
Usage, plan, and reset data are requested directly from the connected provider: Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for ChatGPT, Cursor, and xAI for Grok. Sign-in tokens leave the device only to that provider so Quota can read remaining capacity. Quota does not proxy those requests through a first-party backend, and does not sell or share that data with advertisers.
What Quota does not collect
Quota does not operate a Quota backend, analytics service, or advertising SDK. Quota does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. There is no App Tracking Transparency prompt because Quota does not track. Deleting Quota from the iPhone removes the local Keychain items, App Group snapshot, and history.
What disconnect does
Disconnect removes the local credentials and the current cached usage for that provider. Recorded history may remain on the device. Quota does not revoke the provider session on the provider’s servers. You can also revoke access from that provider’s own account settings.
Notifications
Alerts are evaluated on the device from the same snapshot shown in the app. Permission is requested only if you choose Allow Notifications in Settings.
